1. in order that的用法。其意為“為了”

He studied hard in order that he could pass the exam. 他努力學(xué)習(xí)，是為了能通過考試。

In order that he should not be late, his mother woke him at 6. 為了不讓他遲到，他母親六點(diǎn)就叫醒了他。

【注】該結(jié)構(gòu)有時(shí)可與 in order to 轉(zhuǎn)換

He’s working hard in order to pass the examination. / He’s working hard in order that he can pass the examination. 為了考試及格，他正在努力學(xué)習(xí)。

2. so that的用法。其意為“以便”

He studies hard so that he can pass the exam. 為了能通過考試，他學(xué)習(xí)很努力。

I am going to the lecture early so that I’ll get a good seat. 我想早點(diǎn)去聽演講，以便找個(gè)好座位。
