英語(yǔ)基數(shù)詞的表示法

以下是最基本的基數(shù)詞，學(xué)習(xí)者必須牢記

(3) 1000 以上的基數(shù)詞的表示法。先從右至左數(shù)，每三位數(shù)加一個(gè)逗號(hào)(即以此把數(shù)目分為若干段)。第一個(gè)逗號(hào)前的數(shù)為thousand(千)，第二個(gè)逗號(hào)前的數(shù)million(百萬(wàn))，然后一段一段地?cái)?shù)

6, 863 six thousand, eight hundred and sixty-three

45, 256 forty-five thousand, two hundred and fifty-six

365, 261 three hundred and sixty-five thousand, two hundred and sixty-one

注英語(yǔ)沒(méi)有“萬(wàn)”這個(gè)單位，要表示“萬(wàn)”須借用thousand，如“一萬(wàn)”用“十千”(ten thousand)表示，“十萬(wàn)”用“百千”(one hundred thousand)表示。hundred, thousand, million 等詞在讀數(shù)時(shí)不帶復(fù)數(shù)詞尾-s(即用單數(shù)形式)。但是，若不是用于讀數(shù)，而是用于泛指許多，則用復(fù)數(shù)

Thousands of people went there. 數(shù)千人去了那兒。

Millions of workers lost their work. 數(shù)百萬(wàn)人失業(yè)。
