二，大作文審題

　　Directions:

　　Write an essay of 160-200 words based on the following drawing. In your essay, you should

　　1)describe the drawing briefly,

　　2) explain its intended meaning, and，

　　3) give your comments。

　　正如我們所料，2010年的大作文還是考了我們所預(yù)測(cè)的圖畫作文，這是考研歷史上第11次考圖畫作文了。字?jǐn)?shù)要求在160--200詞。圖畫作文往往是一張抽象而意味深長(zhǎng)的圖片或漫畫，有時(shí)讓人很難理解。今年的圖畫只有一張圖，但主題明顯直接。圖畫中間是一個(gè)火鍋，火鍋里面寫滿了很多漢字，比如佛，功夫，解構(gòu)，禮，后現(xiàn)代，老舍，莎士比亞，愛因斯坦，道，仁，京劇等許多代表中國(guó)和外國(guó)文化的東西。把這些東西放在一起，就意味著中西文化融合在一起，特別是下面的文字提示：文化“火鍋”，既美味又營(yíng)養(yǎng)。能更好地幫助我們理解圖畫的主題：即文化融合Cultural integration的問題�？梢哉f這也是一個(gè)考研永恒的話題，這個(gè)話題在2002考研作文里面出現(xiàn)過，可以說是同一個(gè)主題。

　　考研大作文多年來關(guān)注的是對(duì)青少年思想品德方面的教育，比如：01年要培養(yǎng)愛心;02年要把民族文化發(fā)揚(yáng)光大;03年要學(xué)會(huì)自立自強(qiáng);04年要與時(shí)俱進(jìn);05年要孝敬父母;06年關(guān)于偶像崇拜;07年的自信;08的合作與團(tuán)結(jié)，09年人們普遍關(guān)心的網(wǎng)絡(luò)問題。從中我們可以看得出命題專家們對(duì)教育年輕一代的良苦用心。所以我們可以概括出大作文的命題規(guī)律是有關(guān)青年人成長(zhǎng)的問題居多，另外就是社會(huì)上的一些熱點(diǎn)或人們普遍關(guān)心的話題。這一點(diǎn)對(duì)2011年考生的作文備考有很大幫助。

　　在寫大作文時(shí)，第一段需要簡(jiǎn)短描述圖畫的內(nèi)容。今年的圖畫中的火鍋hot pot，以及代表中國(guó)文化的許多東西，考生沒必要一一翻譯出來，自己量力而行，選擇幾個(gè)有代表性的東西翻譯出來就行。第二段需要闡釋圖畫寓意，其實(shí)就是讓我們分析文化的融合和交流問題這一現(xiàn)象。最后一段應(yīng)該表明作者本人對(duì)文化融合和交流這種現(xiàn)象的態(tài)度或看法。

　　【作文思路】

　　按照我們課堂上的寫作方法，可以這樣來展開描述和議論。第一段為傳統(tǒng)的圖畫描述段，根據(jù)圖畫中的具體信息，尤其是下面的文字說明，進(jìn)行直接描述。比如可以運(yùn)用我們沖刺課堂上傳授的精彩句型 " Whoever in front of this cartoon/drawing/picture will be greatly impressed. How amusing and interesting it is! What is vividly illustrated in the painting above is that currently cultural integration is highly pervasive in China. (對(duì)漫畫籠統(tǒng)地描述)。然后再補(bǔ)上后面的文字解釋說明：The caption(圖畫中的文字)indicates that Chinese culture is like a hot pot, which is both tasty and nutritious. "屬經(jīng)典的開頭套話。在描述中，不可缺少的主題相關(guān)詞包括" cultural integration (文化融合)", 及許多代表中國(guó)文化特色的東西，" Beijing opera, Daoism, Gongfu, Shakespeare, Einstain, 等與“文化”有關(guān)的詞匯。

　　第二段要求闡釋漫畫背后所隱藏的深刻社會(huì)意義。在這一段首句可以直接采用" Simply designed as the picture is, the symbolic meaning it conveys is deep and profound. It is, most likely, that the drawer intends not only to present the fact to us but also to set us thinking about its social significance。在句型運(yùn)用方面，可以考慮使用啟航課堂上反復(fù)提到的必殺詞組“The foremost and the most striking influence of it，As is universally acknowledged，和What makes things even better等。第三段闡述自己的一些看法或想法，發(fā)揮它的長(zhǎng)處，來使我們的生活更快樂和有意義。

　　As is vividly depicted in the drawing, in the middle of the cartoon stands a hot pot, containing many Chinese cultural symbols, such as Beijing operas, Daoism, and some foreigh cultural symbols, etc. How impressive the drawing is in describing the common phenomenon that Chinese culture is becoming increasingly integrated into the world. The drawer’s intention seems to be highly self-evident and the meaning causes us to be thought-provoking。

　　It holds to be apparent that the cartoon is indicative of a pervasive phenomenon with regard to culture. When it comes to(一談到) culture，its great impacts and benefits can’t be too estimated. As China opens to the outside world, our traditional culture is embracing the foreign culture, thus making our Chinese culture more diversified, colorful and internationalized just like a melting pot. What the picture conveys goes far beyond this. The fact that people from different countries are attracted to each other, indicating that to some extent different cultures can be accepted，respected，appreciated and shared internationally. In other words，Chinese unique culture can become international through worldwide economic and cultural exchanges. Since the trend of globalization become irresistible, cultural integration can effectively improve mutual understanding and friendship among different countries. In my personal sense, Chinese national culture as priceless spiritual treasure should be preserved and cherished. Meanwhile，there are good reasons to embrace foreign cultures on the ground that those ideas from the other cultures can provide a different perspective for us to observe the world in the long run. However，confronted with a different culture，we should be sensible enough to absorb its essence and to resist its dark side. Only in this way can we promote cultural integration and development positively, thus making our motherland dimensional，colorful and vigorous. (303 words)
