　　Jenkins was a jeweler， a master craftsman for the Silkstone Jewellery Company. Ten years ago he made a large diamond ring for the company. It was worth $2，000. The second looked exactly like the first. Jenkins knew it would pass all the usual tests—except one perhaps.
