　　I’m thinking of taking five courses next semester. 我在考慮下個學(xué)期選修5門功課。

　　47、severe

　　1、嚴(yán)重的。車禍造成了嚴(yán)重的傷害(severe injuries)。

　　2、十分的，表程度。

　　We haven’t had such a severe winter for so long, have we?

　　我們很久沒有過如此寒冷的冬天了，是嗎?

　　48、shelf

　　架子。主要用于指書架和貨架，根據(jù)句子中的不同情境詞匯來判斷具體所指。

　　I don’t see any on the shelf.　架子上也沒有

　　Here it is, on the upper shelf, next to Volume Two.　在這，架子上層，在第二冊旁邊。

　　49、sign

　　1、簽名。sign one’s name

　　You just need to sign your name at the bottom.　你只要在底下簽名就行了。

　　2、標(biāo)識。一般常指交通標(biāo)識。在違反交通場景中出現(xiàn)較多。

　　I’m sorry. I didn’t notice the sign.　對不起，我沒有注意到標(biāo)識。

　　This is one-way street. Didn’t you see the sign?　這是單行道，難道你沒看標(biāo)識嗎?

　　1、stay up 熬夜
