年畫

　　中國(guó)人在慶祝傳統(tǒng)新年時(shí)，有貼年畫(New Year pictures)的習(xí)俗。這在宋朝的史料中有所記載。廣大農(nóng)村尤其流行這個(gè)習(xí)俗。

　　在新年來(lái)臨之際每個(gè)家庭都忙于往門、窗戶和墻上貼彩色的年畫或剪紙(paper-cut)。傳統(tǒng)的年畫是用簡(jiǎn)單清晰的線條和明亮的色彩描繪出繁榮的景象。

　　年畫是中國(guó)民間美術(shù)中較大的一個(gè)藝術(shù)門類，它始于古代的“門神畫(door-god picture) 據(jù)說(shuō)貼在家門上可以辟邪。

　　同時(shí)，年畫還可以美化居家環(huán)境，增添節(jié)日的喜慶氣氛，為家人帶來(lái)幸福和歡樂，表達(dá)了民眾向往美好生活的愿望。
